Drift up the sandy beach access path in Turners Beach on the far end of the esplanade, through the community park, under the weaving limbs of the gum trees and you’ll find yourself at Little Riva; a refined Australian coastal cafe with warm inviting environment.
Inspiration has been taken from various notable aspects of the environment and blended into a calm gum leaf floating on the water. Both beach and river are represented by the ripple and the gum leaf collects meaning from landscape surrounding the cafe. Floating and combined to depict the relaxed ‘go with the flow’ ambience of the cafe. Typography is a reflection of the cafe’s architecture; a blend of new and old in an Australian-Mediterranean style; character filled with a minimalist aesthetic.
